Specific Rules

Rule 7001 – Probate matters across multiple regions must be filed based on the decedent’s zip code within the county.

Rule 7010 – Remote appearances are encouraged, and no special filing is required.

Rule 7101 D. – A Certificate of Assignment is required.
•
Rule 7132 – A Diligent Search for Intestate Heirs is required.
•
Rule 7200 – Filing a copy of the Death Certificate is required.
•
Rule 7204 – The Confidential Supplement to Duties and Liabilities of Personal Representative (DE-147S) is required.
Specific Accounting Rules (Rule 7162)
1.
The original closing escrow statement showing the charges and credits for any sale of real property in the estate must be submitted.
2.
All account statements as defined in Probate Code 2620(c)(1), showing the account balance as of the closing date of the accounting period, must be included.
If the accounting is the first court accounting filed by the party and a Final Inventory and Appraisal has not yet been submitted with the supporting documents required by Local Rule 7129, the party must provide all account statements showing the account balance immediately preceding the start of the accounting period.
This subsection does not apply to requests for waiving or dispensing with an accounting.
